Recommended Reading

Throughout therapy we will probably meet weekly for one hour per week. In the time between sessions I may suggest you read a book, or look into a concept more deeply as your homework. Here are some of the books I’ve read regarding therapy, recovery, and managing one’s anxiety. I’ve also included books that illustrate my sense of humor and that have made me laugh. I hope they will redirect you during difficult times as well.

All except the Anxiety and Phobia workbook can be borrowed from your public library. The Anxiety and Phobia workbook has too many exercises/activities that I think it would be an asset to purchase. You can get a previous edition (5th or 6th) off eBay or Amazon.
